Executive Panel Discussion on ‘Going Green’
I’m ending this week with plans for travel to Chicago. Monday morning, I’ll be speaking at an invitation-only executive breakfast hosted by Xerox at the Graph Expo.
This year, the panel will be discussing how they’ve taken a leadership role in establishing environmentally friendly, sustainable work practices. The inspiration for this topic started with a feature article posted back in February of this year titled, “Print Industry Leaders Reap Business and Social Benefits by Going Green,” by Bob Wagner, Vice President of Xerox Premier Partners Global Program.
Other panel members will share their successes, strategies and future goals on becoming more sustainable. For example, the critical aspects for success, new technologies and paper products, how to set feasible goals and the top 10 tips on smarter ways to go ‘green.’
Speakers will include Patricia Caulkins, VP of Environment Health and Safety at Xerox, Chris Hutson, CEO of Digital Color Graphics and Robert Cashan, CEO of Earthcolor.
Next week, I’ll share insights into what each company has done and is striving to do in the future for sustainability. Wish me luck!
Feel free to post a comment and share steps that your business is taking to go green.
Steve
